Matthew Pierce joined Gordon Tilden Thomas & Cordell LLP in 2008 following four years of private practice during which he litigated a wide range of civil matters.   Matthew's civil litigation practice includes representing clients in contract disputes, personal injury cases, complex commercial disputes, and insurance coverage matters.  Matthew's insurance coverage background includes representing clients in disputes involving first and third party claims, construction, commercial litigation, errors and omissions and directors and officers insurance.

Matthew received his J.D. degree in 2003 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as a staff member in the law school's Attorney General's office.  Matthew graduated magna cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles in 1999.
