Jury
Returns Verdict for GMT Client
June 12, 2002. Gordon Murray Tilden represented
Northwest Retail Partners, a Seattle commercial real estate brokerage
firm, in an action for $100,000 in real estate commissions against
Baldridge Development, Inc., a prominent St. Louis-based developer.
Baldridge asserted breach of fiduciary counterclaims totaling approximately
$1 million. The case was tried to a King County jury from June 4 through
June 12, 2002. The jury deliberated for 30 minutes, before awarding
Northwest Retail Partners 100 cents on the dollar on its claims and
finding no breach of fiduciary duty had occurred with respect to the
counterclaims. The case was handled by Jeff Tilden.
