Jury Returns Favorable Verdict for Solectron
October 30, 2003. In a King County Superior Court jury trial,
GMT lawyers today achieved a favorable verdict for Solectron Washington,
Inc. The plaintiff, Jemco Components & Fabrication, alleged that
Solectron had entered into a contract guaranteeing the purchase of
$4.8 Million in sheet metal parts over a one year period. Jemco claimed
over $1.5 Million in lost profits due to the cancellation of the alleged
contract. The jury unanimously rejected Jemco's claim that Solectron
made such an annual commitment. GMT lawyers Jeff Thomas and Johanna
Bender tried the case on behalf of Solectron Washington. |
