GMT Achieves Settlement in Wrongful Death Products Liability Case.
GMT represented plaintiffs Todd and Laura Hauser in a wrongful
death products liability case against Baby Trend, Inc. Baby Trend
is the manufacturer of a portable crib/playpen that collapsed and
strangled to death the Hausers' eight-month old son in June 2001.
On September 4, 2003, three weeks from the scheduled jury trial of
this matter, GMT reached settlement with Baby Trend and its insurers
on behalf of the Hausers. The settlement amount is confidential. GMT
partners Jeff Tilden and Jeff Thomas represented the Hausers. |
