Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle Settles Lawsuit
September 11, 2003. The Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle last
night reached agreement with 15 plaintiffs in a sexual abuse lawsuit
pending in King County Superior Court. The case involved the Rev.
James McGreal, a former priest at area parishes. The agreement was
reached near midnight after three days of negotiations. Jim Murray
served as insurance coverage counsel to the Archdiocese.
