Court Allows PSE to Proceed in Condemnation Matter
December 6, 2004. GMT client Puget Sound Energy, Inc. prevailed
in a contested public use and necessity trial. The Court allowed PSE
to condemn a 222 foot transmission line corridor which is a significant
part of PSE's Novelty Hill Project. The Novelty Hill project includes
the current construction of the Novelty Hill transmission substation
and the future construction of four major transmission lines.
Chuck Gordon and Johanna Bender represented PSE in King County Superior
