The Firm is extremely pleased to announce that Dale L. Kingman has joined the Firm as a Partner as of January 14, 2008.  For over two decades, Dale has been one of the premier insurance coverage lawyers in the Pacific Northwest.  He has advised, litigated, and tried cases on behalf of policyholders under a wide variety of coverage lines, including property, casualty, Directors and Officers, professional liability, commercial crime and fidelity.  Dale is also one of the most respected and sought-after mediators and arbitrators in Washington and beyond, in cases involving insurance issues, construction disputes, and all manner of business and commercial  disputes.  For twenty years prior to joining our firm, Dale was the managing shareholder of Seattle’s Kingman, Peabody, Fitzharris & Ringer. 

We are equally pleased that Matthew F. Pierce has joined the Firm as an Associate.  Matthew was Dale’s colleague at the Kingman Peabody firm for four years before joining Dale at Gordon Tilden Thomas & Cordell.  Matthew's civil litigation practice includes representing clients in general commercial and business disputes, defense and prosecution of personal-injury actions, and insurance coverage matters.  Matthew's insurance coverage background includes representing clients in disputes involving first and third party claims, construction, commercial litigation, errors and omissions and directors and officers insurance.  Matthew received his J.D. degree in 2003 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his Bachelor’s Degree magna cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles in 1999.
