After two years of trial preparation, Gordon Tilden Thomas & Cordell and Keller Rohrback have settled a personal injury claim against the City of Seattle and others relating to the design and maintenance of a City crosswalk for $10.15 million. The case was brought on behalf of Dominick Douglass, a 13-year old boy who was seriously injured in the negligently-designed crosswalk in May 2005. Jeff Tilden and Mark Wilner (GTTC), and Will Smart and Ian Birk (of Keller Rohrback) represented the plaintiff.
