Alejandra (“Alex”) Contreras Caballero is a seasoned trial lawyer and commercial litigator. With experience in BigLaw, boutique litigation practice, and indigent defense, she has first-chaired jury trials in state and federal courts in multiple jurisdictions over a wide variety of issues.

Alex has extensive experience representing large corporations in multi-party and class action suits through all phases of litigation. She has guided corporate clients through shareholder derivative suits, secured transactions issues, and government investigations. Her cases routinely require massive e-discovery efforts, and she is experienced at leading large document review teams.

Alex is deeply committed to bettering her local community and has previously served on the Boards of Directors of the Young Lawyers Division of the 8th Judicial Circuit of Florida, the Legal Aid Society in Michigan, and Chicago Debates. She currently serves on the board of the Rural Women’s Health Project, an organization dedicated to providing access to healthcare for rural women in Alachua County, Florida.

Alex is a graduate of the University of Rochester and New York University School of Law.

Alex is a certified sommelier and fluent in Spanish. She has a longstanding commitment to immigrant rights and has worked on several pro bono immigration cases throughout her career.
