Brendan Winslow-Nason is GTTC’s Newest Partner

GTTC is proud to announce that Brendan Winslow-Nason has been elected to its partnership as of January 1, 2020. Brendan, an accomplished insurance coverage and commercial litigator, brought his practice to GTTC in 2017 from Cozen O’Connor, where he was a partner.

Brendan’s parents were prominent in the insurance industry before their recent retirement. They worked on hundreds of insurance coverage disputes with countless lawyers throughout their careers. When Brendan graduated from law school his parents gave him some surprising advice based on their own experience. They told him that just being smart was not enough to make him a great lawyer. They told him that if he wanted to be a great lawyer, he would need to keep an even temperament, remain congenial with friend and foe alike, be honest, and stay positive. They said those character traits would distinguish him from other lawyers.

Brendan heeded that sage advice. His approach to litigation has helped him break logjams in contentious cases, drive settlements in lawsuits that everyone thought were bound for trial, and earn respect among his opponents and their counsel. These are the qualities that have led to an impressive list of accolades:

• The American Bar Association named Brendan among the top 40 young lawyers in the United States in 2016.
• Brendan was nominated and admitted to prestigious fellowships in the American Bar Foundation and the Construction Lawyers Society of America.
• Super Lawyers and Seattle Met magazines have named Brendan a “Rising Star” each year since 2012.
