GTTC Obtains $11 Million Verdict in Property Loss Dispute
GTTC partners Frank Cordell, Jeff Thomas, and Greg Pendleton represent Ingenco Holdings, LLC and Bio-Energy (Washington) LLC (collectively “Ingenco”) in a dispute with ACE American Insurance Company. Ingenco owns and operates a plant that converts landfill gas into clean, saleable natural gas. The plant suffered a breakdown, leading to substantial repair costs and business-interruption losses. ACE denied Ingenco’s claim under its All-Risk and Boiler & Machinery insurance policy. After a three-week trial in federal court in Seattle, the jury found for Ingenco and awarded nearly $11 million in damages. GTTC served as co-counsel with Ingenco’s longtime counsel, Robert Rauch.
