GTTC Obtains Defense Verdict in Admitted-Liability Jury Trial

GTTC partner Mark Wilner spent the second half of August in trial again. In this one, GTTC defended its long-time client Puget Sound Energy, Inc. in a motor vehicle accident case in King County Superior Court. The plaintiff alleged permanent back and neck injuries and pain from an accident on West Valley Highway involving a PSE driver. PSE admitted fault but contested causation and the extent of harm claimed by the plaintiff. Following a two-week Zoom trial, the King County jury returned a defense verdict finding no causation.
