GTTC’s Law School Leg-Up Program
Gordon Tilden Thomas & Cordell LLP proudly offers grants for diverse undergraduate students to help pay for an LSAT prep course, the LSAT test itself, and law school application fees. GTTC recognizes that expenses associated with getting into law school can create a barrier to greater diversity in the legal field. The grant recipients will receive a free LSAT prep course from Princeton Review (typical cost $1,800) and $450 to offset the cost to take the LSAT and to apply to law schools. The recipients will also be paired with a GTTC lawyer mentor to help with the application process (e.g., reviewing personal statements) and offer a connection to the Seattle legal community while they attend law school and begin their career.
Eligibility: College juniors, seniors, or graduates with demonstrable financial need and plans to attend law school.
How to Apply: Please submit via email to AIDCommittee@gordontilden.com: a resume, college transcript, and personal statement of 750 words or less.
Deadline: Applications are due May 5, 2023. The recipient will be announced on May 19, 2023.
